Parents or guardians who notice their children identified on the website and wish for that information to be removed should contact us immediately.

Information We Collect and Store, and Disclosure Policies

1. To simply view content on YourHorseSports.com, or to post a comment about something that's been published on the website, we do not ask for any personal information.

2. YourHorseSports.com users who wish to submit content (articles, tips, photos, videos, maps, etc.) are required to register and provide accurate personal information, including their real name, a valid e-mail address, age, sex and postal code. Registration also may be required for some other services provided by YourHorseSports.com where we must know how to contact you in order to provide the service. (Examples would be a survey where a drawing is held among participants to win a prize, or where a user requests delivery of a newsletter or content feed.)

3. We ask registering users for their physical (street) address. We strongly encourage you to provide it, because we use physical addresses to deliver prizes to winners of contests conducted on the website. Your physical address will only be shared with companies that we may affiliate with that are providing prizes, in order that they can deliver the prizes to you. We do not use physical addresses in any other way. If you do not provide us with your physical address, you will not be eligible to win prizes as part of YourHorseSports.com contests and promotions.

4. While we do collect real names of registered users, users have the option of using a nickname instead of their real names on public areas of YourHorseSports.com. For example, John Smith might be known on YourHorseSports.com as "Hot Dog," and that nickname would be displayed as the author of content (including comments about others' content) submitted by John Smith. Alternatively, Smith could choose to display his real name.

5. We require user registration in part to encourage responsible conduct among those YourHorseSports.com users who contribute content to the website. Once you have registered with us, you are not anonymous to us, even though you may use a nickname for your public submissions to the website and be anonymous to other YourHorseSports.com users.

8. Registered users' account information is password protected. Please keep your password safe from use by others.

9. If you use a computer that is used by other people (for example, at a public library), remember to log out when you are finished visiting or using YourHorseSports.com. Failure to do so could mean that someone else could access your account.

Our Web server automatically collects information about your computer configuration, such as the type of browser software you use, the operating system your computer is running, and your IP address. "Cookies" are used to track which pages on our site you visit. This information does not contain any of your personal information or in any way tell us who you are. We use this information to make the site more useful and convenient for users. We use cookies so that you do not have to re-enter your log-in and password each time you visit YourHorseSports.com. (If you set your browser software not to accept cookies, you will still be able to use some but not all features of our website, and you will have to manually log in each time you visit YourHorseSports.com.)

12. We may aggregate information collected from our users in order to target ads on YourHorseSports.com. 16. YourHorseSports.com and/or Enthusiast Group LLC may disclose information about its users if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpeonas, court orders or other legal processes.

17. YourHorseSports.com is based in the United States and operates under U.S. law. Visitors to and users of YourHorseSports.com from other countries acknowledge this and agree to abide by the laws of the U.S. when visiting or using YourHorseSports.com.

18. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes unless you have specifically requested that we do so. (For example, you might request information about an advertiser by clicking on a "Send me more information" link.) We will not sell, rent or share your information with unaffiliated companies or people except when: (1) as necessary to provide you with products or services you have requested, or (2) we have your permission.
