I've been showing since I was eight doing jumping and dressage. Lately, I haven't been able to ride as much because I was hit by a drunk driver about five weeks ago and did some damage to some soft tissue and my right shoulder (luckily that was the only thing.) I missed my dressage test that was the next day and I was pretty bummed. Although I'll be in the saddle again soon and I absolutely cannot wait! I'm sure I'll be asking advice from all of you and keep a look out for the pictures I'll be adding! Happy riding! | |

Hi Katelynn! Welcome. We're so glad you could join us. And so sorry to hear about the accident. I know how depressing it is to not be able to ride. Sometimes my husband will think I'm really grumpy, and he'll say, "go out and ride."
And just a couple of weeks ago, I was signed up for a big local dressage show, and I came down with the flu!!! I woke up the morning of the event, and I started to get up and get dressed, and I was just toooo sick and weak to manage. Terrible disappointment (not to mention the money down the tubes!).
Anyway, welcome- I've loved seeing your photos so far, so keep posting.
