If you are lucky enough to live in the cold area you know all about winter hair unless you take the time to clip your horse. It all starts when the days get shorter and colder and you start to bundle yourself up just to take a few carrots out to the barn and see your somewhat slick and shiny coated friend greeting you for a treat. After a week or two something starts to happen-WINTER HAIR- and sooner or later your beatiful horse has turned into a great big furry moster!!
