My Horse Is The Greatest Horse Of All Time

MISSY and I are doing well. I have been trying to get back on my feet lately so that I can take care of her feet- we need a farrier! We're keeping busy, riding almost every day and giving other people rides on her as well. I like to get people on the back of a horse and see how much it transforms them. Although they may be nervous at first, since MISSY is SUCH a WONDERFUL HORSE, they can't help but become excited over the prospect of riding her by themselves and around barrels. One little girl's dad has already promised to buy her a horse as soon as they have a place to keep it.

There are so many people that I meet whose first and only riding experience was a bad one. I get so mad at the people who allowed this to happen! I know last year a lady that I know decided to start giving riding lessons. The first time I showed up after a "lesson", one kid was riding in the roundpen while the other two were standing up on the hill, one nursing wounds gained from falling off of a pony! That is ridiculous! Why would anyone want to ride after being promised safety from a "pro" and their first time out, they wind up on the ground! My horse would never allow an inexperienced rider, child or adult, to fall off of her. I turn people loose on her all the time, and she is very kind and obedient and sensitive to her rider's needs (and to me, either at the end of the lead rope or nearby!!!!). Everyone should have a horse like MISSY. I am glad to share, but I will never give her up!

I LOVE MY HORSE.
