Big Brown- Destined For Greatness

I am convinced that this will be the year America celebrates the reign of a NEW TRIPLE CROWN WINNER. Go BIG BROWN! Has anybody WATCHED this horse race? Yeah, I know he didn't get the glory he deserved after winning the Kentucky Derby from Post #20, through no fault of his own- my utmost sympathies for America's late great princess Eight Belles, but have you SEEN him? I happened to turn on TVG just before the Florida Derby about a month or so ago, and I fell IN LOVE with this Superhorse. For the first time in my life, I didn't watch the Kentucky Derby. I WATCHED BIG BROWN. From start to finish, I only had eyes for this fantastic stallion, and I was thrilled to see him FLY across the wire easily. Now BIG BROWN has done it again. The Preakness was a breeze for him. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE watch the Belmont Stakes on June 7th. Big Brown won't be beat, he won't quit, and he won't miss out on his chance to shine on the pages of every history book, every worthwhile magazine, and every horse lover's heart. Affirmed was our last Triple Crown winner way back in 1978, just before I was born. I'll be 30 this September, and you can bet that this will be a year to celebrate. No matter what your other plans or obligations are this summer- no matter what your personal crisis or greatest adventure- even with it being an election year- I hope that you will set aside this evening for greatness. Do something special for Big Brown's sake. He deserves this. I believe with all my heart that he is what America needs right now. Someone to lift our spirits, someone to make us hope- to pray- to dance, and someone to be a hero. If you watch him race- even a replay of one of his other races will do- and you reserve a special place in your heart (even if you want to see another horse in the field do well, that's okay- just be happy for Big Brown if he wins the Belmont) for this mighty powerhouse on hooves, he will know that you stand behind him and he will win. Go Go Go GO GO GO GO GO GO BIG BROWN!
